I was very pleased to be given a brokenhand painted Nippon china pitcher. Nippon china was manufacturedfrom 1865 to 1921 and is a valuable and highly collectible china. I've created the first piece from this china and it is now available onthis website. More jewelry will be designed from this antiquechina and will be uploaded to the site in the coming weeks. Last month I had written about several pieces designed from aparticularly lovely Richard Ginon plate. Several more pieces fromthat china have been added to the site, including a black and silverwire crochet bracelet, a funky pair ofearrings, a lovely silver wirewrapped pendant and a copper wirebracelet.

Live Interview on The Jewelry Connection!

Every Sunday Mona interviews an independent jewelry designer. The showruns for an hour and they end with a question and answer session. Theyhave a chat room where you can type in your questions. The next piece of china to be broken into jewelry pieces will be thisheavenly Bavarian china from Germany. You can see how badlycracked it is. I should be able to get some very nice pieces fromthe center of this plate. And look at that gorgeous flowerylattice work around the edges - I have some very uniqueideas for that and I can't wait for my ideas to become reality! I'll be showing you what I come up with in next month's newsletter.
